Honeywell Aerospace Shareholders Sue Over Misleading Statements and Supply Chain Risks
A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of shareholders who purchased Honeywell Aerospace Inc. (NASDAQ: HONA) securities between June 29, 2026 and September 1, 2026. The action alleges that expectations priced into HONA were built on statements that omitted the concentration risk in a handful of constrained suppliers and an unresolved government contracting exposure.
The complaint contends that investors and analysts were not informed that a small group of constrained suppliers could potentially gate hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue output. Analysts had previously been optimistic about HONA's standalone outlook, with sell-side models anchored to the company's organic sales growth guidance of 7% to 9%.
Honeywell Aerospace Inc. shares began trading under the ticker HONA following the completion of its separation from Honeywell International on June 29, 2026. The company reported a net income of $256 million that missed the consensus figure of $684 million in August 2026. Adjusted earnings per share fell 32% year over year, and net income declined by 70%. HONA shares closed at $156.47 on August 6, 2026, down $47.17 or roughly 23%, from their price of $203.64 on August 5.
Investors who suffered losses may be eligible to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. The deadline for this is November 23, 2026. Multiple firms often file competing complaints, and the court may consolidate related cases and appoint a single lead counsel.
