Honeywell Completes PSS Sale, Solidifying Pure-Play Automation Focus
Honeywell Technologies has completed the sale of its Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) business to Brady Corporation in an all-cash transaction. This move marks the final step towards Honeywell's transition into a pure-play automation company, according to Vimal Kapur, chairman and CEO.
The divestiture follows the sale of the Warehouse and Workflow Solutions business last month and the PPE business in 2025. Since 2023, the company has completed approximately $11.5 billion of accretive, synergistic acquisitions, including the purchases of Compressor Controls Corporation, SCADAfence, and Sundyne.
Honeywell Technologies is a global automation company focused on building, industrial, and process sectors, serving customers with services, solutions, and products through its Honeywell Technologies Accelerator operating system and Honeywell Technologies Forge intelligence layer. The sale of the PSS business is expected to enhance the company's focus on automation and contribute to its growth.
