Brent Honeywell Jr., a right-hander who was part of the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series-winning team in 2024, has agreed to a Minor League deal with the San Diego Padres.

Honeywell joined the Dodgers late in 2024 and proved himself as a reliable piece out of the bullpen, pitching to a 2.62 ERA across 18 appearances during the regular season.

After helping the team secure their second World Series championship, Honeywell was let go by the Dodgers at the end of the season.

However, he will now get another chance with the Padres, who have signed him to a Minor League deal. This is not his first stint with San Diego, as he previously made 36 appearances for the team in 2023 and posted a 4.05 ERA.
