Honeywell has entered into a multiyear global partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL) to modernize and create energy-efficient arenas, practice facilities, and community rinks across North America.

Under this agreement, Honeywell will be the Official Building Automation and Energy Management Partner of the NHL. The goal is to integrate safety, security, frictionless access, and energy management systems to improve operational performance and the overall game day experience.

Honeywell's solutions will help safeguard fans, players, and staff while enabling arenas and community rinks to operate more efficiently and maintain secure environments that make hockey more accessible at the local level.

Greg Turner, chief solutions engineering officer at Honeywell Building Automation, states, 'By integrating automation, energy management, safety, and security solutions, Honeywell can help create venues that are not only more efficient and resilient but also better equipped to deliver a consistently great experience.'
