JPMorgan Vet Joins Social Security Administration as Unpaid Modernization Advisor
Former JPMorgan executive Matt Zames has joined the Social Security Administration as an unpaid advisor, alongside his former colleague Frank Bisignano. Zames will start his role at the agency's Baltimore headquarters on Monday, where he'll help with modernizing operations.
Zames' experience in technology-driven transformation and crisis management could prove valuable to the SSA's efforts. He led several large-scale projects at JPMorgan, including initiatives aimed at streamlining operations and cutting costs.
The appointment signals a focus on modernization and cost management within the agency, which manages retirement, disability, and survivor benefits for millions of Americans.
