Honeywell Sensors Now Available Through Powell Electronics

Honeywell has made its GAPS and HAPS aerospace proximity sensors available through Powell Electronics, a supplier of connectors and other high-rel applications for industries including defense, aerospace, and industrial.

The GAPS series are configurable, non-contact, hermetically sealed devices designed to sense the presence or absence of a target in less harsh areas of application.

The HAPS series, on the other hand, are also configurable, non-contact, hermetically sealed devices designed for harsh duty aircraft applications.

Both sensor series incorporate Honeywell’s patented integrated health monitoring functionality and provide on/off outputs. They can be configured with an optional health monitoring output to the host system.
