Honeywell Teams with Dangote for Kenya's Largest Refinery
Honeywell Technologies has been selected by Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE to provide process technologies, licensing, engineering services, proprietary catalysts, equipment, and digital solutions for a planned 700,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Kenya.
The facility will be the world's largest single-train refinery once complete, producing gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and polypropylene. It can process crude oils ranging from light to heavy grades.
Dangote expects to reduce the project's development schedule by nearly 30% due to utilizing engineering designs developed for their existing refinery in Lekki, Nigeria.
