Honeywell to Equip L&T Realty Projects with Advanced Building Management Systems

Honeywell Technologies has been chosen by L&T Realty, the real estate division of Larsen and Toubro, to implement its Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) across luxury housing and commercial projects in Mumbai and Chennai. The collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, energy performance, safety, and occupant comfort through real-time visibility into daily operations. Notably, this partnership includes one of the first housing deployments of Honeywell Technologies Forge in India.

Munish Suri, President of Building Automation for Honeywell Technologies in India and APAC, highlighted the growing demand for intelligent, integrated technologies in India’s evolving real estate sector. He stated that the collaboration with L&T Realty marks a strategic milestone, expanding Honeywell’s presence in large-scale housing. The deployment of Honeywell Forge provides near real-time performance monitoring, offering operators ongoing insights into the health and efficiency of the buildings’ systems.

The Honeywell IBMS system integrates safety, security, video surveillance, and building automation into a single platform. This integration enables faster emergency responses and reduces operational blind spots, addressing potential issues before they escalate. As one of the first housing deployments of Honeywell Forge in India, this collaboration sets a new technology standard for quality and scalability in Indian housing complexes.
