HotHands rechargeable hand warmers are being recalled nationwide due to potential fire and burn hazards. The recall affects products sold by Bass Pro Shops, Meijer, Target, The Home Depot, and Amazon. The hand warmers, which contain lithium-ion batteries and electrical components, can overheat and ignite, posing serious injury risks.

Approximately 77,000 units were sold between July 2025 and August 2026. The recalled products have the model number H163650. Consumers are advised to contact Kobayashi for a full refund, with instructions available on how to obtain a claim number.
