HouseCanary Expands Home Listing Program with Google Nationwide
HouseCanary and Google have expanded their home listing program nationwide, allowing participating brokers and agents to showcase listings in Google's mobile search results. The agreement builds on an earlier program announced by HouseCanary and Google that brought MLS listings into Google's mobile search results.
According to HouseCanary CEO Chris Rediger, the expanded relationship aims to increase the visibility of listings while simplifying the home search process. He stated, 'I'm excited by this development and by the opportunity to help expand the exposure of listings for brokers and agents, and make it easier for consumers to find their next home.'
The format places property information, including prices, photos, and key features, within Google's Local Services Ads experience. HouseCanary previously stated that eligible listings from participating MLSs can be surfaced in Google mobile search without an advertising spend by the listing broker or agent.
