Huang Reaffirms AI-Fueled Projections as Nvidia Poised for Record Growth
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently reaffirmed his bold projection for 2030, stating that data center capital expenditures will reach $3 trillion to $4 trillion annually by then.
This forecast may seem far-fetched, but investors can take Huang's comments at face value due to the significant growth in AI adoption and the subsequent demand for computing power. The data center build-out is already underway, with many companies planning their growth years in advance.
Huang's previous projection from 2026 estimated that the big five AI hyperscalers would spend nearly $800 billion on capital expenditures by 2030. If Nvidia maintains its share of around 40% of all spending, its revenue could top $1 trillion by then, leading to a stock doubling in under five years.
Nvidia's current revenue is estimated to reach $411 billion this year, with the company poised to benefit from the ongoing AI arms race. The Motley Fool has identified Nvidia as one of the best stocks to buy now, but also noted that it wasn't included in their top 10 list for investors.
