Huang's AI Empire Entwined with Trump's Politics
Jensen Huang, co-founder and CEO of Nvidia, has become increasingly entangled in the world of politics. With a net worth of $169.9 billion, according to Forbes, Huang has aligned himself with the Trump administration's push for domestic manufacturing.
Nvidia produces graphics processing units central to the current AI boom, and its market capitalization has surpassed $5 trillion. The company has pledged to invest $500 billion over four years in building AI servers in America, partnering with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).
Huang's relationship with Trump began to blossom after the 2024 presidential win. He attended Nvidia's 2025 Global Tech Conference in D.C., where he stated his purpose was 'to inform and be in service of the president as he thinks about how to make America great.'
