HughesLittle Investment Management Ltd., an investment management firm, has acquired a new stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) worth approximately $69 million.
The company purchased 290,255 shares of the e-commerce giant's stock in the second quarter, according to its most recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
This new stake accounts for about 12% of HughesLittle Investment Management Ltd.'s investment portfolio, making it the firm's second-largest holding.
Amazon.com, Inc. recently reported quarterly earnings that exceeded analysts' estimates, with a net margin of 17.44% and a return on equity of 18.00%.
