Hyperscalers are massive data centers that power artificial intelligence and cloud computing. These facilities are getting larger to achieve greater efficiency, with some becoming their own digital, physical, and logistical ecosystems.

The three biggest names in the hyperscaling business are Amazon (AMZN), Microsoft (MSFT), and Alphabet's Google. They collectively control 63% of the public cloud market, offering remote access to their data center infrastructure.

Other notable hyperscalers include Meta Platforms (META) and Oracle (ORCL). Apple (AAPL) is also a player, although it owns fewer total AI data centers. China's technology powerhouses Alibaba (BABA) and Baidu (BIDU) have several large facilities as well.
