IBM Adds Private Equity Veteran Frank Baker to Board of Directors
IBM has appointed Frank Baker to its board of directors, effective immediately. Baker is the co-founder and managing partner of Siris Capital Group, a private equity firm that has deployed over $9 billion in technology, telecommunications, and data-focused companies since its inception.
Baker's experience spans multiple industries, including stints at Ripplewood Holdings and Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
IBM Chairman Arvind Krishna expressed enthusiasm for Baker's perspective, stating that the company looks forward to his input as it advances its vision and drives enterprise transformation through technology.
