IBM Bolsters Cybersecurity Capabilities with Acquisition of Logiq Consulting
Global tech giant IBM has acquired UK-based cybersecurity consultancy Logiq Consulting. The deal is set to strengthen IBM's capabilities in secure digital transformation and cyber security, particularly for clients in the defense, critical national infrastructure, and public sectors.
Logiq Consulting provides a range of specialist services including cyber security assurance, Secure by Design, secure systems engineering, digital transformation, and secure managed services. The company's expertise will complement IBM's existing hybrid cloud and AI offerings.
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advised IBM on the acquisition, with partner John Livesey commenting that 'the transaction reflects the growing importance of security and resilience as organizations across the UK defence and public sectors accelerate their digital transformation'.
