IBM Bolsters UK Cybersecurity Capabilities with Logiq Consulting Acquisition

IBM has acquired UK-based Logiq Consulting to expand its cybersecurity capabilities in the country. The acquisition will help IBM's clients maintain control over critical data and technology environments, meet evolving security and regulatory requirements, and adopt AI securely.

Logiq Consulting brings specialist capabilities in cybersecurity assurance, Secure by Design, secure systems engineering, digital transformation, and secure managed services. The business has a strong track record of working with the UK public and defence sectors, helping organisations build security into every stage of the technology lifecycle.

Rhodri Arrowsmith, Managing Partner for IBM Consulting in UK & Ireland, stated that 'cybersecurity, governance and resilience are absolutely critical to organisations as they increasingly accelerate their transformation and adopt AI at scale.'
