IBM Digital Asset Haven Links with Swift for Tokenized Deposits
IBM's Digital Asset Haven platform has connected to Swift's blockchain ledger for tokenized deposit transactions. This integration allows clients of IBM Digital Asset Haven to instruct tokenized deposit transactions on Swift's shared ledger, creating a bridge between enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure and the global banking network's tokenized deposit system.
The connection brings together two significant pieces of institutional blockchain infrastructure built in the past year. IBM Digital Asset Haven was launched on October 27, 2025, as an API-driven platform for institutional clients to manage wallets, enforce governance policies, and handle transactions across more than 40 public and private blockchains.
Safety is at the core of the architecture, with multi-party computation, hardware security modules, and confidential computing layered together. Compliance tooling comes pre-integrated rather than bolted on after the fact. IBM built the platform in partnership with Dfns, a wallet infrastructure provider that has created over 15 million wallets for more than 250 clients.
Swift's shared ledger was launched on July 9, 2026, and designed specifically for tokenized deposits, which are digital representations of commercial bank money. Three major Singapore banks, DBS, OCBC, and UOB, executed the first domestic SGD tokenized deposit transactions on Swift's shared ledger in September 2026.
The integration between IBM Digital Asset Haven and Swift's blockchain ledger represents a significant development for institutions looking to manage positions across multiple blockchains. This connection gives institutions a direct on-ramp to the banking network's emerging tokenized deposit infrastructure, expanding their capabilities and potential use cases.
