IBM Expands Digital Asset Haven with On-Premises Deployment and Swift Blockchain Connectivity
IBM has expanded its Digital Asset Haven platform by releasing two new beta capabilities for banks and regulated organizations. The first is an on-premises deployment that allows clients to run the solution entirely within their own data center, using IBM Z or LinuxONE systems.
The second beta capability is connectivity to permissioned blockchain networks, starting with Swift's shared ledger. This includes an ISO 20022 Messaging Adapter, which enables banks to instruct tokenized deposit transactions using the same payment message formats they already use.
Tom McPherson, general manager of IBM Z and LinuxONE, said 'The financial services industry is entering a new era where tokenized and traditional assets will need to move side by side.'
