IBM Indonesia Unveils AI Platform to Drive Digital Ecosystem Growth
IBM Indonesia recently hosted its Builders Day 2026 event in Jakarta, which aimed to strengthen the country's digital ecosystem. The event brought together various stakeholders, including the government, IT developers, technology experts, and business leaders.
In his speech, Said Mirza Pahlevi, Director of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology Ecosystems at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, emphasized the importance of a strong digital ecosystem in achieving Indonesia's digital ambitions. He noted that collaboration is key to turning these ambitions into real impact, citing IBM as a partner in advancing technology, developing talent, and ensuring that the benefits of digital transformation are felt by all.
IBM also introduced its AI development platform, IBM Bob, which enables software developers to work faster while maintaining security, governance, and control. Managing Director of IBM Indonesia Juvanus Tjandra stated that IBM Bob is designed to support Indonesian IT developers in leading a new round of the AI economy.
