IBM Joins GSMA Open Gateway Initiative to Accelerate Enterprise Adoption of Network APIs

The GSMA Open Gateway Initiative has expanded to include support from IBM, aiming to accelerate enterprise adoption of network APIs. The initiative provides a standardized framework for mobile operators to expose network capabilities as developer-friendly APIs.

IBM Consulting will help support enterprises in discovering and implementing CAMARA-enabled use cases, improving API availability for real-world deployment.

Rahul Kumar, Senior Partner and Vice President at IBM Consulting, stated that 'network data can provide organizations with a wealth of decision-making intelligence.'

The GSMA Open Gateway initiative is supported by more than 70 businesses, including leading hyperscalers and technology firms such as Alibaba Cloud, Meta, Microsoft, and Oracle.
