IBM Korea's president, Lee Su-jeong, delivered a keynote at the IBM AI Summit Korea 2026, emphasizing that artificial intelligence (AI) can completely redesign corporate operations. According to her, corporations should not focus on automating single tasks but rather restructure their entire operation and decision-making processes.

Lee highlighted that many companies have built AI models and data capabilities but struggle with integrating them into core processes and linking them to outcomes. To address this issue, IBM recently released Bob, an AI development platform that automates the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Bob is a unique agent-style platform that distributes work across multiple models, including Anthropic Claude, Mistral, and IBM Granite, depending on the nature of the task. Lee stressed the importance of designing data access and execution permissions for agents to carry out real work.
