IBM Launches New AI Centre in Visakhapatnam

Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Education and IT, has launched the IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam. The new facility will support AI-first digital transformation projects and consulting services for clients worldwide.

The centre, established by global technology leader IBM at Lansum Square near Isukathota Junction, is expected to strengthen Visakhapatnam's position as an emerging hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation services.

Lokesh inaugurated the centre along with IBM India and South Asia Managing Director Sandip Patel. During the visit, he reviewed demonstrations on AI Governance Intelligence and technology solutions for the chemicals and petroleum industries.
