Nvidia-led tech selloff pulls US stocks lower
The US stock market experienced a decline in late trading on Thursday, led by a 5.5% drop in Nvidia's shares after the company's post-earnings report.
This slide weighed heavily on semiconductor stocks and contributed to a dampened sentiment around the AI-driven rally.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose just 0.03% in the prior session, while the S&P 500 fell 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite declined 1.2%.
Snowflake, however, offered some support with a 2.3% rise after Citi raised its price target to $280 from $270, citing growing AI momentum in Snowflake's Q4 earnings.
