IBM Offers Cryptographic Visibility Tool Through AWS Marketplace

IBM has made its Guardium Cryptography Manager (GCM) available on AWS Marketplace. This tool gives users a central inventory of their cryptographic assets, along with governance capabilities to manage them across multiple environments.

The GCM provides visibility into the use of keys, certificates, secrets, and algorithms within an organization's AWS environment. It can identify expired or expiring certificates, weak or deprecated algorithms, and shadow (unmanaged) cryptographic assets operating outside of governance controls.

With a 90-day trial period, users can evaluate GCM in their own AWS account, using their own data and configuration. After the trial ends, the deployment moves to production through a Bring Your Own License (BYOL) arrangement, allowing users to align their license with existing IBM agreements.
