IBM Returns to Visakhapatnam with New Client Innovation Centre

IBM has returned to Visakhapatnam after six years and inaugurated its 'Client Innovation Centre', a key development in the city's IT sector. The centre will support the delivery of consulting and technology services for global clients, with capabilities spanning AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.

The company has leased office space in the Lansum Square building and commenced operations two months ago. IBM is also playing a key role in the 'Quantum Valley' project being established in Amaravati. The new centre will serve as a hub for AI-first cloud transformation and services, platform engineering, service integration, quality engineering, and user experience services.

The Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that IBM's return to Visakhapatnam is an endorsement of the city's emergence as a global hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital services, and technology-led innovation. He added that the state government welcomes IBM's continued commitment to Andhra Pradesh and looks forward to working together to make Vizag one of India's leading destinations for AI and digital transformation.
