Indian companies are shifting from experimenting with AI to deploying it on a large scale, according to Salesforce's president and chief executive officer for South Asia, Arundhati Bhattacharya. She noted that Indian firms were moving towards putting things in production, indicating a significant step forward in the adoption of AI technology.

Salesforce sees India as a key market for its services, with Bhattacharya stating that the country offers 'white space' for digital and agentic AI growth. The company is investing in physical infrastructure, upskilling Indian talent, and recruitment to support this growth.

A new tower in Bengaluru is expected to come online next calendar year as part of Salesforce's investments in the country. Bhattacharya also highlighted the company's plans for innovation and acquisitions to bring new capabilities to customers.
