India Gets Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max: Stocks in Focus
Apple's latest flagship devices, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, are now available in India. The launch on September 18, 2026, marks a significant milestone for Apple's Indian operations. Both phones boast impressive features, including triple rear cameras, an 18 MP front-facing camera, and long-lasting batteries.
The 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,64,900, while the 6.9-inch iPhone 18 Pro Max costs Rs. 1,79,900 for the 256 GB model. Apple has skipped releasing the base model this time around, with the launch of the basic iPhone 18 expected in March-April 2027.
The release of these high-end devices may boost distribution volumes and premium smartphone sales. Redington Ltd, a key distributor for Apple in India, could benefit from higher iPhone sales. The company's shares rose by 3% to Rs. 412.15 per share on the day of the launch.
Electronics Mart India Ltd may also see increased customer footfall following the launch of Apple's latest premium iPhones. With a market capitalisation of Rs. 7,579 cr, the company's shares rose by 7% to Rs. 196 per share on the same day.
