Indian Firms Under Cyber Siege: 96% Hit by Disruptive Incidents

A recent study by Cisco found that nearly all Indian firms - an astonishing 96% - have been affected by business-disrupting cyber incidents over the past year.

The 'Relentless Defense Report' surveyed 8,000 security professionals across 30 markets, including 1,000 respondents from India.

The report found that internal organisational friction was a greater impediment to strengthening cyber defences than technological limitations.

Only 40% of Indian organisations stated that their security, networking and IT teams function as a cohesive unit with shared tooling and visibility.
