Indian-Origin CEOs Dominate Global Business Scene
Eighteen Indian-origin CEOs are leading some of the world's biggest companies. These individuals have made significant contributions to their respective industries, and several have been at the helm for over a decade. For instance, Satya Nadella has been Microsoft CEO since February 2014, while Sundar Pichai took on the role at Google in 2015.
Other notable Indian-origin CEOs include Anil Chakravarthy, who will succeed Shantanu Narayen as Adobe's CEO in December. Chakravarthy has been with Adobe since 2020 and currently leads its Customer Experience Orchestration business and worldwide field operations.
Kunal Shah, the founder of FreeCharge and CRED, is set to join Meta and lead WhatsApp globally. His role has not been officially labelled as 'WhatsApp CEO' but will be in a key leadership position at the company.
