Indra Sistemas Expands U.S. Defense Capabilities with Radar Plant Investment

Indra Sistemas, S.A. Class A (BME:IDR) is expanding its U.S. defense and aviation capabilities through two major investments.

The company has invested $7.5M in its Kansas radar plant to build next-gen FAA air-traffic radars.

In addition, Indra Sistemas is pursuing a separate $244M contract with the FAA to develop next-gen digital radios.

The company has also joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) to align future security solutions with Microsoft's offerings.
