Industrials Stocks to Watch: EnerSys Shines Amid Sector Lag
The industrials sector has underperformed the market over the past six months, lagging the S&P 500 by 10.6 percentage points.
Despite this lackluster result, there are a few companies within the sector that have shown resilience and potential for growth.
Two industrials stocks to sell are Sherwin-Williams (SHW) and Installed Building Products (IBP), which have struggled with stagnant revenue growth and sluggish demand in recent years.
Sherwin-Williams, a manufacturer of paints and coatings, has seen its annual revenue growth slow to 3% over the last two years, while its stock price trades at 25.3x forward P/E.
Installed Building Products, which specializes in installation services for residential and commercial construction, has also seen muted growth, with projected sales increasing by only 3.3% in the next year.
