Inside the Magic of Disney's Immersive Theme Park Experiences
A new documentary series is giving fans an inside look at how Disney brings its beloved stories to life in its theme parks worldwide. 'Disney Worldbuilders,' directed by Academy Award and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Leslie Iwerks, features candid conversations with top industry leaders, including Bob Iger, James Cameron, Jon Favreau, Kevin Feige, Jennifer Lee, Pete Docter, Dave Filoni, Jared Bush, and Josh D'Amaro.
The documentary takes viewers behind the scenes of how Disney's creative teams turned iconic films like 'Avatar,' 'Star Wars,' and Pixar's hits into immersive experiences for fans to enjoy. Iwerks' grandfather was none other than Ub Iwerks, Walt Disney's original animator and co-creator of Mickey Mouse.
