Insitu, Gogo Unveil Starlink Challenger for Military Drones

Boeing subsidiary Insitu has teamed up with Gogo Special Missions to develop an alternative to Starlink for military drones. The two companies tested a high-speed satellite connectivity system on Insitu's Integrator drone, providing global internet connectivity via Eutelsat's OneWeb low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network.

The project adapted Gogo’s Galileo HDX antenna for the drone, offering military operators an alternative to Starlink. The solution provides high-bandwidth satellite connectivity on a global scale.
