RB Capital Management LLC purchased $2.85 million worth of Home Depot stock in the second quarter, according to its recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The firm acquired 8,085 shares of the home improvement retailer's stock.

The purchase is part of a larger trend of institutional investors increasing their stakes in Home Depot. In total, hedge funds and other institutional investors now own 70.86% of the company's stock.

Home Depot has been performing well financially, with revenue up 5.7% year-over-year and quarterly earnings exceeding expectations. The company also recently exceeded its fiscal 2026 guidance and has set its price target at $375.54 by analysts.

The home improvement retailer has seen its stock trading down 0.4% in recent days but still remains a top pick for many investors due to its strong fundamentals and growth prospects.
