The Virginia Retirement Systems and other institutional investors have acquired new holdings in McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD). The Virginia Retirement Systems purchased 258,769 shares of McDonald's stock, valued at approximately $69.948 million.

Other investors who bought new positions in McDonald's during the second quarter include IFC & Insurance Marketing Inc., Abound Financial LLC, Entrust Financial LLC, Purpose Unlimited Inc., and GKV Capital Management Co. Inc.

Institutional investors own 70.29% of McDonald's stock.
