iPhone 18 Pro Launch Imminent Amidst Supply Concerns

Apple is gearing up for the launch of its iPhone 18 Pro family in September. Analysts warn that Apple may not have enough supply to meet early demand due to a DRAM shortage affecting TSMC's production of the A20 Pro chipset.

The company traditionally launches new iPhones on the second week of the month, but this year Labour Day falls on Monday, Sept. 7. Therefore, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro family on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Meanwhile, China's CXMT could become a potential source for Apple's memory and RAM needs in the Chinese market. However, this would require Apple to comply with US regulations or seek an exemption.
