iPhone 18 Pro Sales Flatline Amid High Prices and Limited Upgrades

Apple's latest iPhone 18 Pro lineup has been met with lukewarm demand, according to GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu. The analyst attributed this weakness to limited feature upgrades and higher price points for both the iPhone 18 Pro ($1,199) and Pro Max ($1,299).

The lack of innovation in Apple's recent iPhone releases has been a concern, and with new CEO John Ternus at the helm, the company can't afford to get off to a slow start. The weak demand for the iPhone 18 Pro is an early warning sign that investors should be watching.

Apple's first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, will be available on October 16 with a starting price of $1,999. JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee notes that Apple customers may be holding out for the Duo release, particularly in the China market.
