Irish Open Returns to Open Championship Qualifying Series
The Amgen Irish Open is returning to The Open Championship qualifying series after a three-year absence. One spot at St Andrews will be available for the leading non-exempt player at The K Club next July.
This change comes with a new date, July 1-4, due to the September staging of the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor.
The Open Qualifying Series offers players chances to qualify for The 155th Open through 19 events in 15 countries across eight tours. The series starts with this week's FedEx Open de France at Le Golf National, offering one spot.
Other qualifying opportunities will be available at various events including the Japan Open and Link Hong Kong Open in October, December's Capital.com Australian Open, and February's New Zealand Open.
