Isotope Bidco Makes Final Cash Offer for Intertek Group
EQT-backed Isotope Bidco has made a final cash offer to take over Intertek Group plc (LSE:ITRK) through a UK court-approved scheme. The proposal, filed under the UK Companies Act, leaves little room for higher bids, except in limited circumstances.
Recent filings, including the UK Takeover Code Form 8.3 and TR-1 reports, reveal significant shifts in institutional stakes. Between September 28 and October 2, 2026, several institutions reported holdings above 1% in Intertek Group. Notably, State Street reduced its stake by 451 shares since September 30.
JPMorgan Chase also crossed a voting-rights threshold in Intertek Group via a chain of controlled undertakings. The bank filed a TR-1 on September 29, 2026, with effects starting October 1, 2026, in London.
