J&J Shares Rise Amid Positive Clinical Trial Results
Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) has reported positive clinical trial results for its psoriasis and arthritis biologic Tremfya, which met primary and major secondary endpoints in a phase four study of adults with active psoriatic arthritis and axial involvement.
The company also announced that a late-stage study of Caplyta in bipolar one disorder achieved its primary endpoint, adding to the growing evidence base for this treatment. Additionally, new long-term data from a mid-stage study of Carvykti showed durable responses in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
These announcements come as the shares of Johnson & Johnson hover near record levels, despite rising Treasury yields and pressure on dividend-paying sectors. The company's healthcare portfolio has become a major contributor to revenue growth, with each product having its own trajectory and competitive pressures.
