Japan's Amusement Parks Get Ready for a Spooky Halloween Season
This year's Halloween season in Japan promises to be a thrilling experience for visitors of all ages. Many amusement parks across the country are rolling out spooky decorations and events, including Sanrio Puroland's 'PUROMONSTERSCRAMBLE,' which features Hello Kitty, My Melody, and other beloved Sanrio characters in ghostly celebrations.
At Tokyo Disney Resort, Mickey and Minnie, along with Disney villains, will be dressed up for 'Disney Halloween 2026.' Even Huis Ten Bosch, near Sasebo Naval Base, is marking the ghoulish season with a Haunted Halloween Dance Night Show.
The parks are not only offering entertainment but also Halloween-themed foods and merchandise. For instance, Sanrio Puroland has a limited-time horror version of their popular attraction, 'Sanrio Character Boat Ride,' called 'Noroware Pierrot.'
