Jefferies Cuts Boeing Price Target Amid Cash Flow Concerns
Boeing's stock price closed at USD 197.72 on September 22, 2026, down 1.71 percent from the prior close. The shares traded between their 52-week low of USD 176.87 and high of USD 254.20, leaving Boeing 22.62 percent below its yearly peak.
Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu cut Boeing's price target to USD 265 while maintaining a Buy rating. This move came after reducing the expected free cash flow figure by USD 100 million from USD 3.0 billion to USD 2.9 billion, making cash generation a central valuation issue.
Despite this revision, analyst expectations remain higher than Boeing's current stock price. MarketScreener listed an average target of USD 273.69 from 27 analysts, with a minimum of USD 246.00 and a maximum of USD 305.00. Wells Fargo analyst David E. Strauss also maintained a Buy rating and set a target of USD 250.00.
Boeing's revenue improved in fiscal-year 2025, rising by 34.5 percent to USD 89.463 billion from USD 66.517 billion in the previous year. However, the company's EBITDA showed negative figures in fiscal-year 2024 but turned positive to USD 6.234 billion in fiscal-year 2025.
