JNJ Surges on Strong Q2 Results and Raised Revenue Outlook
Johnson & Johnson (J&J) stock surged about 3% to $270.19 on Tuesday morning as investors shifted their focus from high-growth tech stocks to more stable healthcare companies.
The move comes after J&J reported a 6.6% increase in second-quarter sales, which climbed to $25.31 billion.
Adjusted earnings reached $2.90 per share, and management raised the company's 2026 outlook, targeting around $101.1 billion in revenue and $11.68 in adjusted earnings per share at the midpoint.
The healthcare giant is now approaching a milestone few companies reach: surpassing $100 billion in annual sales.
However, investors are paying a premium for this consistency, with J&J trading around 41% above its estimated fair value of $192.38.
