JNJ's TREMFYA Shines in Phase 4 STAR Study for Axial Psoriatic Arthritis
Johnson & Johnson has announced positive results from its Phase 4 STAR study evaluating the efficacy of TREMFYA in treating axial psoriatic arthritis. The trial, which enrolled 411 biologic-naïve adults with active psoriatic arthritis and MRI-confirmed axial inflammation, showed significant improvements in patient-reported disease activity scores, axial symptoms, and sacroiliac-joint inflammation at Week 24.
TREMFYA met its primary and major secondary endpoints, including reductions in axial symptoms measured by ASDAS-CRP and sacroiliac-joint inflammation measured through MRI. The safety profile of TREMFYA remained consistent with its established profile in psoriatic arthritis, with no new safety signals identified.
The study's results will be presented at an upcoming scientific congress, where detailed efficacy and safety data, including MRI findings, will be shared. Johnson & Johnson develops a range of healthcare products, including pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and other healthcare areas.
