Joan Sickler, Retiree from IBM, Passes Away
Joan Sickler, a long-time resident of Doylestown, PA, passed away on September 17, 2026. Born in Glasco, NY, she was the daughter of Victor and Rose (Belsito) Zammiello, who predeceased her. Joan had been married to Richard Sickler for 40 years until his passing on February 26, 2022.
Sickler retired from IBM in Mechanicsburg, PA in 1996. In her free time, she enjoyed redecorating her home, shopping, and traveling with her husband to Florida. Joan also valued spending time with her family and grand dog, Casey. She is survived by five children: Jon Brodhead and his wife Nancy of Perkasie, PA; Kathleen Brodhead of Port Ewen, NY; Craig Sickler and his wife Jennifer of Florida; Stephen Sickler of Kingston; and Eileen Klan of Kingston.
The service for Joan will be held on September 22, 2026. Family and friends may visit from 10am to 11am at St. Joseph's RC Church in Kingston, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am, with entombment at Wiltwyck Cemetery immediately after.
