Johnny Drille Joins Coca-Cola for 75-Year Nigerian Anniversary Anthem

Coca-Cola has celebrated its 75-year presence in Nigeria with a new anniversary music anthem titled 'We Still Dey.' The song was released on September 25 and features Mavin Records singer and producer Johnny Drille, along with a 75-piece choir.

The lyrics of the anthem focus on the brand's enduring presence and connection with Nigerians across generations. Johnny Drille sings, 'Many come and go, but we still dey / Through many generations, that feeling is the same.'

'We Still Dey' takes a more expansive approach than previous local Coca-Cola anthems, centering Nigeria's diversity and shared experiences rather than aspirational framing.
