Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) has increased its dividend for an impressive 64 consecutive years, one of only nine publicly traded stocks to achieve this milestone. The company's quarterly dividend was recently raised by 3.1% from $1.30 per share to $1.34, making the new annual dividend $5.36 per share.
If you own $10,000 in J&J stock at the current share price of about $260, that would be equal to around 38 shares. This investment would yield approximately $204 a year in dividend income, with a forward dividend yield of 2.07%.
While this may not seem like a high yield compared to some other stocks, Johnson & Johnson's stock has delivered strong price appreciation over the past few years, increasing by 50% over the past 52 weeks and 26% in 2026, outperforming the broader market as measured by the S&P 500.
