Johnson & Johnson Joins Robinhood Stock Tokens with Tokenized Debt Security
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) has introduced a tokenized stock product on Robinhood Stock Tokens. This means that investors can now buy and hold tokens that represent a direct link to JNJ's underlying shares. The tokens are issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, a licensed custodian holds the corresponding underlying shares.
According to the terms of the tokenized stock product, holders receive economic exposure to the underlying stock, including price performance and applicable corporate actions. However, they do not have legal or beneficial ownership of the underlying shares or shareholder voting rights.
