Contineum Therapeutics' shares are trading lower on Tuesday due to disappointing Phase 2 results from its key MOONLIGHT-1 trial.

The study did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint for JNJ-5120 / PIPE-307 in major depressive disorder, a condition being developed by Johnson & Johnson under a global license and development agreement.

JNJ-5120/PIPE-307 is still being evaluated by Johnson & Johnson, which will assess the trial data to determine next steps.
